INTERRAIL GLOBAL PASS COMFORT CLASSES

The difference between traveling in 1^st and 2^nd class is the comfort and extra services offered. In general, Interrail Passes for 1^st class are more expensive than 2^nd class passes. 1^st class passes however are a great way to treat yourself to this much extra on your Europe road trip!

Youth passes are only available in 2^nd class. If you’re aged under 26 and would like to travel in first class, you can buy a first class adult pass.

INTERRAIL GLOBAL PASS EXCEPTIONS

NEW: With an Interrail Pass you are now allowed to do one out-bound and one in-bound journey in your country of residence.

You must have been a resident in a participating European country for 6 months to travel on an Interrail pass.

IN WHICH TRAINS CAN YOU TRAVEL?

The Interrail Global Pass is valid in trains of national and some private railway companies of the participating countries. You can travel as much as you want within and between these countries on your validity days.

Tip: If you travel on high speed or overnight services, you will need to purchase a seat reservation prior to travel. You can book these via our website (Seat reservation with Pass).
