It's not so much that they rip you off by not delivering, it's that very frequently keys resold are "stolen"/hacked or falsely generated, meaning that if the key is fraudulent, steam could conceivably delete your access to the game or straight up permaban you if it turns out the key is of shady origins. | |

I wrote a small rambling review that I'll just post here: Saw a preview screening. I actually felt optimistic when I sat down in the cinema. With no reviews to go on it was pretty nice to go in to a film blind for once. This is easily the laziest comedy sequel in a long while. Got maybe two or three chuckles from the entire audience the whole way through. Can't be bothered to write a real review so I'll just list some points here. The movie suffers from the same problem that Anchorman 2 suffered from. Namely that it goes way over the top way too fast. I know the first Zoolander has plenty of surreal, reality breaking stuff in it, but it was effectively spread out so that it came as a surprise and was funny. In Zoolander 2 that shit is happening constantly and quickly becomes exhausting within the first 20 minutes. The movie is always turned up to 11, so the really outlandish stuff becomes very boring very fast. This is another comedy movie that completely forgets the value of the straight man. Every single character in the movie is a crazy weirdo and you can't relate to anyone. This is similar to the above criticism as when there are no normal people around the kooky characters all being kooky towards each other gets extremely tiring. Celebrity cameos. GOOD LORD, the celebrity cameos. During 90% of scenes somebody will shout "[celebrity name]! What are you doing here?!" It's lazy, schlocky, and completely takes you out of the movie. Half way through and it becomes a guessing game as to who will show up next. More lazy, shoehorned in references to the original film. These aren't too bad but definitely apparent throughout. Thankfully the immortal "But why male models?" is NOT tarnished, however, so the movie gets some small points for that. So there's my crappy, rambling review. The first Zoolander was dumb and ridiculous, but it at least had structure and didn't get really outlandish until the final act. Zoolander 2 feels like a fever dream, and not in a good way. It sounds unbelievable, but you could almost call the first movie grounded in comparison. | |
Visited my grandmother over the weekend, Alzheimer's/dementia has deteriorated quite badly. She recognized me, and looked quite happy, but most of the time she would simply start rambling in German about her dead friends/relatives, imaginary babies, and eventually Hitler. Alzheimer's is scary as shit, lads... the weekend was harsh as shit. In other news, XCOM2 is fun. | |
Its a terrible condition. I was only close to my fathers parents(no contact with my other Grandfather, never knew my other grandmother, only 'step'-grandmother). While my grandmother was sick often, and died in the end due to it. She atleast did not suffer for years, from what I know. She could still take care of herself until the end(when she had to be taken to the hospital). If I ever get a serious case of it, I just want out. | |
