Oh nice catch. I found the issue and it doesn't look very widespread luckily. I'll need to write a script to fix it though so please give me a bit.

I might have this issue, though I have no idea what account name it would be as I had over 1,000 posts before and now I don't.

Posts being corrected now, and post count should update shortly after.
Are we supposed to be gaining back to our old post counts? Asking because mine is still about 11,000 posts off.
I believe you only have the posts you made after the redesign of 2012. I miss about 12000 as well.

I'm sure I made MORE than 3000 after 2012. So I'm still waiting.
Hm, for me it goes as far back as March 14 2009, so it looks like older threads are imported as well.
Closed threads and threads started by banned people etc did not get transfered over, so that can be a significant chunk of posts.
Alot of threads were deleted at some point in the last few years...for reasons I still don't understand

It's more likely your post counts accurately represent what's available on site. There was a massive amount of delete posts that was not included cause they are of no value, sorry for any inconvenience that it may have caused.

No, they're not of any value. We aren't claiming they are. There's just not any point in keeping a post count if you're going to use whatever reason you can to dump thousands of posts from people's counts. As trivial as it may seem to you some people care about their time.

I think you're being a little unfair. They could have just made us start from scratch, but they imported a massive amount of data from the old system into theirs. Not importing thousands of locked threads makes perfect sense to me. Just think of it like we all had to move house. There are some things that hold sentimental value that you just have to let go of rather than getting a bigger moving van.
Take it as a way of starting anew on a new forum. I'm missing around 18k posts or so. At first it bothered me but then I realised that it's better to start anew than dragging on posts from years ago (posts from the start of 2005 for myself).
I'd have to credit to the Staff that took on the immense challenge of actually moving the forum onto another database. Even though there's a few issues here and there on this forum I must say it is immensely far better than the previous iteration.
Can someone here help me and hopefully correct this problem, all the old threads have come over and for some strange reason my name on the old threads has been changed to LocustNoose which is something I have never used before. Everyone around me is gaining post counts except me...would it be possible to correct this?
