We're currently waiting for someone to pay for enabling TLS on our CDN, which is a non-trivial cost - along with ad networks still dragging their heels on proper https support to avoid mixed content.

Though as the climate is what it's on the internet I would require SSL with TLS 1.2 encryption enabled here. There is a certificate available but it's using the escapistmagazine domain.
