why did u rush the system and why when ps4 does don't u support 1080i??!! I never said anything about this before hand, the dolby situation u did and waiting on a pach, but not that ur not supporting 1080i. I read you that since sports seem blurry in 1080i u don't support it?!
"1080i
Televisions with 1080i resolution display 1920 x 1080 pixels. This gives the user a 16:9 high definition (HD) viewing area. The "i" in 1080i stands for interlaced scan, which means that half the lines that make up screen images are "redrawn" by your HDTV 60 times a second. Although this technique looks great with most media, fast-moving video, such as sports footage, suffers a slight blur at 1080i. For this reason, Xbox One does not support interlaced resolutions. "
"720p
Televisions with 720p resolution display images at a maximum of 1280 x 720 pixels. This gives the user a 16:9 high definition (HD) viewing area. Although 720p is the lowest resolution of most HDTVs, the picture is still excellent. For a screen smaller than 37 inches, the quality of the images in 720p is nearly indistinguishable from higher resolution HDTV sets. If your HDTV only has 720p and 1080i as the options, you should select 720p for the best resolution for Xbox One."
720p is not 1080 Microsoft! please release a patch for this like ur dumb dolby problem. im so mad
I'm sorry I'm sorry! I'll fix it right away! Thank you for choosing the Microsoft Support Forum!

well, there are native 1080i TV's that are not being supported by X1.
Indeed, like my old 32" Samsung TV (now the property of my parents). It was native 1080i, first game I played in HD on my Xbox 360 was Condemned: Criminal Origins. Tried it in 1080i, tried it in 720p, couldn't see a difference in terms of naked eye, but I was convinced from what I had read, heard and seen elsewhere that "p" was better than "i" so from that point on I gamed exclusively in 720p, until I got a new TV that is.
If 1080i is not supported, that's just another example I guess of people desiring the "p" instead of the "i" in their resolutions and Microsoft assuming (much like with the TV stuff they built in), that the world has moved on and everyone is 1080p.
As for the Dolby, I don't own an Xbox One (yet, I want one, but couldn't afford to pre-order and will now be waiting until after new years), and I have no idea what this Dolby issue is, I can summise that it's surround sound related.
no there is not,
its DTS Surround 5.1, uncompressed 5.1 and uncompressed 7.1

So, I have a question from a friend that I would like to ask. I promise that I am not trolling and merely seek an answer for him.
My friend had left his 360 on for a while, the screen had gone dark for some time (paused on CoD btw), he was away from the TV but still close by. He said he heard the Kinect turn on and saw the screen woke up and as he was approaching to see what was going on, he said he saw a hand (grabber tool looking thing, like a mouse cursor) moving independently and when he moved into view of his Kinect, it vanished. Anyway, he was kinda freaked out, he called me and I told him I had no idea but I would ask around. He's afraid he got hacked or something, but have any of you guys encountered this? Complete misunderstanding? Something a pet could do if a controller was on the ground? We tried to recreate it but couldn't. My friend would appreciate any help.
This is perfect for those who love their old 360 controllers, or had a real expensive modded 360 controller and now don't have to worry about buying another, or want to use a PS4 Dual shock 4 controller or want that extra edge by playing with a keyboard and mouse. Naturally you have full access to all of the mod packs too so you can now play with a fully modded controller on your Xbox One Modded Controllers - including our latest addition to the mudpack range, CALL OF DUTY GHOSTS V1.0 - again supplied free of charge and will be out very soon (Until it is released you can use the Call of Duty Series v1.7 Game Pack to work with COD Ghosts on the Xbox One)

I have two external hard drives, one of which I know used to work with my 360. I want to use a bigger one with a few hundred GB of storage for demos mostly, but neither is being recognized by my 360. The smaller one was previously formatted and should still have some demos on there. I searched the internet and found several sites mentioning formatting the hard drive to FAT32, but on one site I saw that formatting large hard drive to this format will result in a lot of data loss. My main question, other than whether or not MS has updated the 360 to no longer accept hard drives like it used to, is whether or not I can format my hard drive back in the future so that it will have its current capacity.
So The Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition is free for Gold members this month. I'm so excited to play it!
Is it safe to buy a 360? They have had a notorious reputation for being faulty. I'd like to get one for the exclusives, but are they as bad as they used to be? I talked to a store clerk and he said they haven't gotten as many as they used to.
Edit: i guess i'll never know lol
I don't know if i i'm putting this in the right spot. I do apologize. I'm still on 360 and i have yet to upgrade too the Xbox One (sometime next year i hope lol), but i was looking for some people to add to my friends list on my 360. My gamertag is fallingends if y'all would like to add ![]()
This may be a cry on deaf ears, but does the Video Kinect app still work? I know the Xbone has Skype instead, but I might be able to borrow a Kinect for 360 for when i'm at home and there are a few people I can talk to.
It's a piece of the plastic that is distorted. I tried mashing it down flat but I couldn't. I'll have to replace the shell and hope I don't screw the controller up while doing so.
