Which evolves on a consistent basis. We just aren't there yet as far as getting one console that will last you 10 glorious years. That's a couple of generations away, when HDTVs won't be able to bare the graphic enhancement anymore, and graphics will be satisfying for longer terms.
But, just watch what PC will do in the next couple of years...console only players are going to want that and demand that.
