You know those times when the printer runs out of paper midway through a job, but you don't realize it? You pick up the document and start reading, then wonder where the rest of it went.

Face it Barack Obama's hit the wall, jumped the shark, and any other metaphor that corkscrews his sputtering campaign into the rich loam of also-rans. It isn't just Sarah Palin, it's the electorate realizing the world is a scary place and what he's saying is complete gibberish.

The media might be derelict in their duties, but they are not the cause of the current tight race for the presidency. And for once, we can't blame the candidate, since Obama has done an immeasurably better job so far than Kerry did in 2004 or Gore did in 2000.
