Even as there seems to be a consensus that it's in the best interests of America to save the Big Two-and-a-half, there's a conflict about what the UAW ought to be forced to do in exchange for government assistance to the car companies.
I just want to know if America really thinks that the average Joe Six Pack Blue Collar Autoworker makes $70 bucks an hour? Or do you think this is a number being thrown around to make the UAW and the Big 3 look ridiculous?

What you may not know is that congress is not simply bailing out the auto industry, they are also increasing the pay of federal judges. That's right, at a time when the economy is in the midst of a recession and unemployment is climbing, judges will get a raise.
