Bank Getting Started
To be eligible to open a Scottrade Bank® account, you must have $500 in equity* in one of the following Scottrade® brokerage account types:
- Individual
- Joint
- Trust
- Traditional IRA
- Roth IRA
- SEP IRA
To open a Scottrade Bank® account, you'll need to login and click the Banking tab. Follow the instructions provided to open the Scottrade Bank® account type of your choice:
After you have completed the online process for opening a Scottrade Bank® account and deposited funds into your account, use the Banking tab to manage and track your banking activities and needs.
*In this instance, equity is defined as Total Brokerage Account Value minus Recent Brokerage Deposits on Hold.
