Review statements and transaction history for all financial accounts. Set up delivery of trade notifications via email and remember to always maintain a valid email address with Scottrade. Also, request a
free copy of your credit reportannually.

Back up your files on a regular basis. Set up a schedule to back up your important files and data onto CDs, DVDs, or an external hard drive.

Scottrade is aware of a scam involving a fictitious email that appears to have been sent by Scottrade. This email includes a report on a pink sheet stock and a recommendation to buy. Please note: Scottrade did NOT send this email and does not provide investment advice or recommendations. If you receive a suspicious email such as this from Scottrade please do not reply, simply delete and ignore.
If you have any questions regarding suspicious e-mails or web sites claiming to be from Scottrade, please notify us immediately at 800-619-SAVE.
