There are some holes in this analysis, in my opinion, and the author displays some biases bordering on racism in his conclusions, but it's an interesting theory.

Brad has a way of defending his opinions and facts that is both firm and polite. His comments are always a welcome addition to a debate.
I enjoy all of Brad's contributions. I wish he had more time to focus on his writing so we could all read more from his insightful mind. From his picture, he reminds me of this kooky, 47-year-old guy that lived with his mother in the apartment below me. He had the wildest mustache. It was broken into three different sections, each of a different color and texture. Anyway.... keep it up, Brad.
The first thing I do when I log into Newsvine is to look for whatever Brad has Posted. His articles are aways insightful and he has a talent of getting to the heart of the matter, that makes it clear to all.

A truly thoughtful contributor, Brad tactfully takes on controversy at every turn with a liberal and open minded perspective. Good insight this one has, though proudly conservative he is not :-)

I have to agree with a couple of the folks here. It did take me a while to discover Brad, but that's probably because he's not particularly loud and doesn't get into any altercations. Rather, Brad is a very level-headed contributor, who I can picture stepping into my shoes and keeping things civil around the Vine. I appreciate his commentary because it is both insightful and serves to remind folks that we're all here because we have more in common than not. If Farris were a blend of tea, I'd say he'd be Chamomile.

Brad posts exactly the kind of stuff that more Americans need to be reading. I get a lot of useful info from his posts!

Brad and I don't always see eye to eye on most things. But I respect his views and always enjoy the interactions we have. He is very insightful and always seeds and writes his comments in a very intelligent manner. I have learned a lot from his stuff. If I had to pick a liberal to sit down and have a beer with Brad would be that guy.

It took me a while to notice how good Brad's stuff is. Silly me! Don't make the same mistake, he should be on your watch list.

Brad Farris always has good posts and comments, in a fair and balanced way.
If I ever become a liberal, I hope to be just like him. You will learn a lot by reading his contributions regularly.

The fax was sent by the Egyptian foreign minister, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, in Cairo, to his ambassador in London.
The killing of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi raised hopes that Iraq's slide toward civil war or sectarian disintegration could be arrested, but there are signs that Shiite-Sunni antagonism may now be too deeply rooted.
Rhonda Chriss Lokeman is a local (Kansas City) opinion writer. Her writing style can be dry at times, but she always gets her point across without being offensive. She has long been one of my favorite writers.....I encourage you to check her out.
