The Debt Debate

Can we include "common sense" in the budget talks, please? There is no need to raise the debt ceiling at all. Tax increases for what? Realistically, unemployment is at least 15%. Less people working, less tax base, less revenue to be expected. Simple. Cut taxes, if anything.
