Odd Day is...Saturday, 7/9/11. Three consecutive odd numbers make up the date only six times in a century. After 7/9/11, only two days remain in this parade of Odd Days which began with 1/3/5.
It was November 1996, Thanksgiving time. My mother and I just got done visiting my Grandmother in Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey, and we were heading to Tampa, Florida. We were at the Newark Airport and waiting for our flight, which was probably delayed.

I sure wasn't aware of a couple of these discounts available year-round. I do know that there are some grocery stores that have military discounts on a certain day of the month.
Holidays has not initiated any private discussions.
