While racial and ethnic "hate" seems to be the unsightly and perpetually recurring "blemish" on the very face of our nation, it remains clear that its core has set up "house" in American Conservatism, where its roots run long, wide and deep.
Dear Mrs. Palin,

On the day before this year's Mid-Term elections, I published a commentary to Andrew Leonard's Salon.com article, "The Unbearable Stupidity of American Voters." In the commentary, I made the following trepidacious forecast:

Not much frightens me, but I must admit that, even as an investigative writer who covered the heated, racially charged Presidential Primaries of 2008, this radical religious “thing” that is slowly emerging from the bottom of the roiling cauldron of this year’s …

With women appearing as some of the most conspicuous beneficiaries of The Obama admininistration's hard-won legislative and political achievements during the past two years, it is no wonder that organizations like The National Organization for Women (NOW) and Women's Voices, Wom …

Rick, your Sarah Palin mega-rant was magnificent. Such eloquent bitterness. Loozerio eagerly awaits your next chef d'oeuvre. Ciao!

Rick, President Bush should have let the Iraqi's fight for their civil rights. Oh! I forgot that wasn't why we sent troops to Iraqi, they had weapons of mass destruction, no Hussein was financing Al-Queda's evil plans, we are fighting for the Iraqi's democratic freedoms or was it because Hussein tried to kill his Daddy. Not sure why we went, but the trillions of dollars that went for that war could have gone to safe guarding our country from another attack. Quite a number of folks were fired for speaking out against him. I respected him as our President but would have probably done something different with respect to that war. I don't believe the people of Iraqi appreciated us coming over there changing the only way of life they know. Your article was right on. Although, I had to read again with a dictionary :). Also, I haven't read anything that denounced Sarah Palin's freedom of speech. I think the fact that the points were legitimate is what caused the defensiveness and saltiness.
It is an honor to know you.
Rick I found your page and it looks like your are very versatile in your interests. Why to go! I'm happy you dropped in on the "Why must America be labeled a "Christian Nation" as it may have been a while before I heard your voice otherwise. Aloha! JS
Very good comments! Keep up the great work!
Take care!
