For Those Looking to Rock…ROI
As marketers, there is perhaps no better success metric for our efforts than ROI. We are all participants in the on-going, ofttimes highly-pressurized quest to turn a little money into a lot of money.
Fortunately, we are not left entirely to our own devices and intelligence in this effort. There are some amazing technologies and products to help us not only measure the impact of our various efforts, but also act on that measurement data to improve the relevance and effectiveness or our programs and campaigns.
Test&Target is one such product. Hundreds of companies are actively using it today to improve the effectiveness and customer value of their online marketing and by so doing, are improving their online conversions and ROI.
In today’s hyper-competitive marketplace, where online customers have myriad options at their fingertips each time they peruse and purchase products and services, it’s a wonder that so few organizations are proactively iterating through tests and content targeting to ensure that each visitor that reaches their Web site is going to have the most relevant and meaningful experience possible.
Surveys and anecdotes have provided some reasons why companies are doing so little online optimization work. Often it boils down to two main reasons: 1. Lack of executive support or focus dilutes the opportunity for impact, 2. Lack of knowledge of where to start or what to focus on keeps efforts from getting off the ground.
For this Summit session we’ve recruited a panel of your peers who have figured out how to overcome these challenges and in the process have generated impressive ROI for their companies. We look forward to giving each presenter an opportunity to quickly share specific examples of how they’ve used Test&Target to generate exciting returns and then have each presenter move to a table where session attendees can settle around to learn more about whichever case study seemed the most compelling or similar to their own circumstances.
This session should be an excellent forum for marketers looking for new optimization ideas and for marketers looking for insight on how to get started.
I’m currently building the format for what we want the showcased Test&Target customers to present in the pre-roundtable portion of the session. If you have ideas about what type of information you’d like them to provide in an overview or what additional details you like them to be prepared to share at the roundtable, please comment on this entry.
Can’t wait to see everyone in March!
