this game looks pretty sweet for the most part but ive noticed a few things in past videos that irks the shit out of me, namely the way the main characters arms look and swing when walking, looks like fucking sasquatch haha . also the main characters voice acting is annoying. they shouldve given him a european accent instead of the generic tough guy american voice. totally dropped the ball there for me...

Powered by the bioware engine blind swirly boy.
I'm having high hopes for this,God knows we've been almost dry of a good RPG for a long time.
Small developer studio that does it for love-check
Based on an actual good writer-check
Dark fantasy aimed at mature players-check
White hair-check

Actually it's "Powered by BioWare Aurora engine". It's the only disappointment with the game. I have no doubt that the story will be great and all that but i just don't like that engine (NWN1 and NWN2).

That made my day. Or evening. Whatever.Seriusly if you're talking about that redhead chick I bet she's Triss Merigold from the orginal novels. And she was a... hmmm... "visualy well developed" lady back then, if you catch my meaning.

I was thinking to read the book(s?) but then he said "HE DIED". I was like, AMMAGAD SPOILER DELUXE!!! And then I was calmed by hearing that the author himself said that he survived. So I really look forward to read the book(s) and play the game :D

Seem to remember hearing a rumour that if interest is high enough it may make the jump, but don't know how feasible that is, the game uses (a heavily modified) version of the original Neverwinter Nights Aurora game engine. Then again I will be getting for PC and wouldn't be slightest bit interested in a console version.

This game can do so much for the book in parts where it wasn't translated yet (U.S., UK...) and vice versa, book can help where people read it. And once it's released in US (the book) we can expect Lord of the Rings like movie in no time. Best fantasy I have ever read. Can't wait for that game.

I remember seeing this game in a swedish game magazine about two years ago, on the screenshots in it, the main character were fighting with two claymores. Does he do this in the actual game?

I'm glad they're letting people know about the back story - thats what really got me interested in the game - now one doesn't have to go to the website to find all the info, and can be drawn into it from sites like gt.

Is nice but the NPC look so stiff with the arms at their sides, all the time the arm is still, no moving, no hand shaking... nothing just the arm in the sides .

i think this is the first adaptation of any media related story that doesnt have anything to do with the story itself... except the ending i guess. its great that fans of the novels get a game to play, but i find it kinda lame that they get to create theyre own story line while having a location and concept already layed out for them. hopefully they input the time normally put into these aspects into the gameplay...
