Burial - Fostercare

4/10

This thread keeps dying off every few months. D:
Nevermind the ratings, it's a great way to share music.
I've found many bands and musicians through the course of these threads that I really enjoy at least.

Pleasant, but unremarkable. i have no idea how that translates to a rating. 7/10, maybe?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Jq12PaliyY

The song totally changes gears after the first third or so.

4/10, not my cup of tea.

The PETEBOX, guy is amazing, one man army.

Not really a genre I like, but the funk samples were sweet. 8/10.

I get the impression that Ian Curtis was likely involved in creating this song, before he killed himself.

This really sounds like a Joy Division song.

Not really my thing. I can see its appeal to other people though. 6/10

Lets change up the genres a bit

I don't see the appeal to music like that. I give it an "I don't like the genre/10".

i highly recommend his album "eyeopeness", it's amazing.

It's not bad but also something I wouldn't listen to by choice really.

I watched all 6:34 of it, it wasn't easy. I'm in the military and all that footage makes me sick. No one wants a Kipling or a Hemingway anymore dispatching, they rather get someone from the editing room.

Lets change the tone, please

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mBRUkdQa6Is

^7/10 i actually kinda like it, only reason my score is a little lower than it would be is because the tune is too "drawn out" or "trippy" for me if that makes sense lol

I doubt there are much fans of this kind of music but it's what i'm listening to at them moment

I know what you mean and I can understand.

Your track: 6/10, I'm a fan of the genre, just not that particular song.

6/10, it's different. Not sure if I like it or not lol.

That's pretty good. Never heard of the band. I guess 8/10 maybe?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skcc3zWHAn8

Yes, it is The Beatles, but it is a throwaway George song on Yellow Submarine. I initially was going to link to another George throwaway tune on Yellow Submarine, "It's all too Much."

Nice and mellow. 8/10. It isn't unique enough to score higher.

This could be a Bond theme! I love this girl's voice.

9/10. Beautiful. Thank you for posting it.

ExterminationNation:
5/10. I normally dig like ambient kind of stuff, but it was a little on the boring side, like not too bad but just didn't do anywhere.

Bip. Bap. Bam.

8/10 Love 80's sounding stuff

7/10. Unremarkable, I've heard so many songs that sound similar, many dating from 10-20 years ago. You could probably say the same about this, but it is from 2000.

It has a more organic feel. I don't even know if they use the term acid jazz as a genre anymore, but that is my favorite electronica genre.

I think it might sound familiar cause of the sampling of Faithless.

@Yoursong=6/10

It was repetitive and didn't have that fluid of a beat to begin with but the transition half way through made it bearable. Maybe if the song was shorter and the transition was earlier it would be better/more enjoyable.

{url]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eHx1EWiw4R0&feature=related[/url] Been addicted to this song ever since I first heard it!

8/10 Good stuff man!

I get chills from this song.
