Just a suggestion, and I don't see it on the front page so am not sure if mentioned in this topic, but surely Mario Sunshine is worthy of a mention for the GC?

I've made a couple of recommendation lists myself here, feel free to check them out:

GBA
GB/GBC

Monkey Island god brings back memory's

Doesn't even add Zelda II on the NES.
Also Final Fantasy V on the SNES

Any unusual Dreamcast games out there that deserve attention? (other than Seaman)

Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals (RPG, SNES)
Breath of Fire II (RPG, SNES)
Killer Instinct (Fighting, SNES)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (Fighting, SNES)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time (Beat'em'Up, SNES)

I'm not much a fan of the Turtles, but I think those games on the SNES have got great gameplay even if you're not a fan.

Alundra (Action-RGP, PS)
Vagrant Story (Action-RPG, PS)

The Longest Journey (Point-and-Click-Adventure, PC)
Septerra Core (RPG, PC)

SNES:
-Shadowrun [RPG] [-smashbrutha-]

N64:
V-Rally Edition '99 [Racing]

PS1:
Formula One Arcade [Racing]
Duke Nukem Land of the Babes [3rd person shooter]

PC:
Duke Nukem 2 [2D Shooter]

I just came in to check these lists and I have to say that the Nintendo Gamecube list is pathetic.

Here is what I would add...

Animal Crossing
Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime 2
Luigi's Mansion
Super Mario Sunshine
The Legend of Zelda: Windwaker
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle
Sonic Adventure DX: Directors Cut
Starfox Adventures
Starfox Assault
Pikmin
Pokemon Colosseum and Pokemon Gales of Darkness
Pikmin 2
Beyond Good and Evil
Resident Evil 4
Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles
Soul Calibur 2
Spiderman 2

NES:
Ice Climber [Platformer]
Lee Trevino's Fighting Golf [Sport]
Life Force [Flight Shooter]
R.C. Pro-Am II [Racing]
Silent Service [Submarine Simulator]
Star Force [Flight Shooter]

Nintendo 64
Mario Golf [Sport]
Turok 2 [FPS]
Wave Race 64 [Racing]
Yoshi's Story [Platformer]

Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals [RPG][SNES]
Breath of Fire II [RPG][SNES]

front mission 3...[psx]
wcw vs nwo revenge...[N64]
chakan...[sega genesis]
super turrican 2...[snes]
code name: viper...[nes]

enjoy...

Can someone reccomend games like Echo Night for PS PS2 or PC?

I highly reccomend The Red Star for the PS2.

Severe lack of Golden Sun and Golden Sun The Lost Age.
Also All main series pokemon games are good, not only Red/Blue/Yellow

This is my backloggery. If anyone has any essential games that are missing, please let me know.

Missing from your list? I think The Guardian Legend and Dragon Quest III are essential games. They are some of my favorite NES games or just some of favorite games of all time.

I was actually looking into a copy of Dragon Quest/Warrior 3, recently. I haven't ever played The Guardian Legend. I'll check it out.

If you do get to play let me know what you think.

Atari 2600 -E.T./Moon Patrol
Sega Genesis- Shining In The Darkness
NES- Castlevania 2 Simon's Quest/Kung Fu/Ninja GAiden 2 & 3(Dark Sword Of Chaos And Ancient Ship Of Doom)

I'm currently trying to make up with missing the whole SNES era and i'been wondering what i should play after Earthbound. RPG's tend to take a really long time complete so i don't have energy to beat all of them so my question is that what games should i prioritize.

I have already played Chrono Trigger on DS but besides that only SNES RPG i have played is FF4.

So should i go with something like Mana, Lufia or Breath Of Fire? Which do you think is the most essential RPG or pretty game for any genre on the platform.

Just play FF V and FF VI!

The game I would like to try out on the Sega Saturn is Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Resident Evil which was both rare games to buy on the market.

Mega Drive:

Micro Machines. That game was hands down my favorite game of the 90's.
