He's clearly trolling. It only takes playing one Zelda game to know the difference between Zelda and Link.
Eternal Darkness' sequel is using Cryengine 3 apparently according to the new 9 minute demo.
I don't think he's trolling.
Though in all fairness, Link is the placeholder name so you can't miss it.
So apparently Frostbite 3 can't run on the Wii U because Frostbite 2 didn't run well. Or maybe they once again did a half ass job like porting it since its very capable running the CryEngine 3.
Battlefield 3 and Crysis 3 looks like apeshit on 360 / PS3.
Crysis 3 was well below the lowest settings to the point shadows are removed to keep the fps not go below 20. While the Frostbite engine is much more suited for current systems since its nowhere near demanding as Crysis 3. Crytek didn't seem to have any problems with the Wii U and said to be running "beautifully"Well there is a reason why EA was voted for worst company in the U.S.
for the murricans out there http://www.vg247.com/2013/05/07/super-mario-rpg-hits-club-nintendo-us-rewards-this-month/
goddamn it, all these games i already own. i should have just not bought anything on vcon and use club nintendo points
well it is the wii u version. will save u a buck from upgrading lol
So it is the U version? Thought it was a typo.. yay! Can't wait yo update to the U version ^.^ Though still have ssoo mang games to complete ='(
I thought it was one that you can play on the Wii U, it's just one that you play through the Wii channel...
all i know is that link said wii u.
Heheh yeah I checked it is playable on the U thru the Wii Channel. In other news here's RE Revelations Wii U footage! http://m.ca.ign.com/videos/2013/05/07/resident-evil-revelations-wii-u-trailer
Yeah, I spent the 200 points on Mario RPG.. and RE: Revelations on Wii U looks like it'll be fantastic.
and the Indie games keep on coming. Festival of Magic coming to Wii U for the rpg fans out there.
>>A mix of Harvest Moon - Sold
"EA also stated that they've managed to eliminate expenses in next-gen research & development by ignoring platforms they believe have no long-term potential" As if they couldn't sound like even bigger morons, they're now morons with a crystal ball. What I really don't understand is the constant defaming of the Wii U with regards to their FB3 engine, despite them seemingly run just fine on the PS3 and 360. The CPU clock speed was an excuse for things CoD and Batman with regards to framerate but after seeing DF's comparison of N4S Most Wanted - EA's open world racing game and one that dwarfs the aforementioned titles in scope and content, we see that the CPU wasn't actually the problem but rather rushed porting. N4S actually maintains a more stable framerate target of 30fps unlike the PS360 versions. I really don't know what the fuck EA is thinking right now. Claiming a console has no long term potential when said console isn't even 6 months old is ridiculous.
EA mad bro | |
In other news http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2013/05/just_cause_dev_thinks_wii_u_is_cool_but_has_no_immediate_plans_to_support_it 3rd party developers are having a tough time contacting Nintendo while Indie devs have no problems.
It doesn't sound like the system is getting any support at all.
except for the MASSIVE indie game support that it's getter 8 Bit Boy (Awesomeblade Software) A Hat in Time (Mecha the Slag) A World of Keflings (NinjaBee) Aban Hawkins & the 1001 Spikes (Nicalis) Anima: Gate of Memories (Anima Project Studio) Another Castle (Uncade) Armillo (Fuzzy Wuzzy Games) Biker Bash (Slightly Mad Studios)
Blood of the Werewolf (Scientifically Proven) CastleStorm (Zen Studios) Cloudberry Kingdom (Pwnee Studios) Coaster Crazy Deluxe (Frontier Developments) Cosmic Highway (Maestro Interactive Games) Cryamore (NostalgiCO) Days of Dawn (Bumblebee Games) DuckTales: Remastered (Capcom / Wayforward Technologies) Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara (Capcom / Iron Galaxy) Dusty Raging Fist (PD Design Studio) Fade into Darkness (Maestro Interactive Games) Festival of Magic (Snowcastle Games) Giana Sisters: Twisted Dream (Black Forest Games) Mutant Mudds Deluxe (Renegade Kid) Noctemis (Lacuna Entertainment) Oliver and Spike: Dimension Jumpers (Rock Pocket Games) Pier Solar and the Great Architects HD (Watermelon Co.) I meant purely from big game studios.
The Wii U will have to survive on Nintendo's own efforts and games and that is looking pretty fucking terrible right now.
Though I am not the biggest indie fan myself, this is a very ignorant and wrong thing to say, not that I am surprised.
That's fine, but still it is still getting support. (not saying you are doing this) People cannot pick and choose which to follow. It's like when someone says Wii has no good games. Someone makes a list and they respond "no good games that I AM PERSONALLY interested." that is picking and choosing. Saying it is not getting support, when it is getting more indie support in its first 6 months than the PS3 or 360 got in their first few years, is pretty awesome.
Avalanche studios said that their Wii U dev kits are collecting dust and they have no plans to develope for a console with such a small user base,.
It amazes me how indie devs seem to be able to get in contact with Nintendo easily, but big devs don't.. What in the world is going on at Nintendo?
Meanwhile, at Nintendo....
| |
It's also amazing how those with little to no plans for the U are the ones having communication problems.
If they feel as if they never know who to contact, that's Nintendo's fault.
Forgive my skepticism but I find it hard to believe that someone making a game in their garage know who to contact yet a bigger developer don't, fact is they flat out said they don't have any plans and aren't even using the devkits so why would they contact Nintendo to begin with?
Just spent all my Stars at Club Nintendo on this
None of that works for my country.
Where do you live? I'm in germany and we have our own store, just recently bought the SNES Classic Controller for Wii.
