One strange note Earthbound has been listed up on Amazon for the Wii U for full price, even though it's most likely the VC game I find it odd that Earthbound would get a listing after other VC titles have not. At the moment Rampant hopes are up after previous listings from Watch Dogs to NSLU have all turned up something that the franchise may be getting a revival whether a new entry or reboot, the rumoured E3 schedule did suggest an ND listed as top secret and Nintendo's recent interest in the franchise is encouraging. As gifs go.

i knew sales would improve for Wii U after the Xbox One reveal. but i didn't think they'd improve that fast or that much right away. thought it would take at least until Game & Wario & NSLU releases before the console started selling alot more (since those games are the start of the droughts end)

The PS3 was $599 US and €599 overseas continental Europe. Add to that, even when your 425 is converted to US, they don't remotely equal out which further bolsters mah point.

There were numerous articles about the unfair pricing in relation to US. I remember Europe and Australia getting shitted on in pricing cuz it didn't (and still doesn't) convert right to US.

If the US got similar pricing (as in the price converted from foreign to US), those consoles would not only stay on the shelves but probably be burned. Lol

I TOTALLY understand.

There is a level at which DRM is a total deal-breaker for me. I didn't buy Ubisoft games on PC for a LONG time because of their always-online bullshit. I will never own the new Sim City for that reason.

Unless they give me a VERY VERY good reason to buy one, I'm gonna be skipping Xbox One.

I have no clue why MS is doing what they are doing. They are finally getting Windows into the living room which, lets be honest, they've wanted for a while now. Confirmed for the Japanese Nintendo Direct, there are regional variances between the different showings. Meaning that America & Europe Nintendo Directs might get some other exclusive footage/news (more info on Retro's project in America, news about Art Academy for WiiU Europe, etc..)

You are wrong. Hell the exchange rate between GBP and US was almost double back then (like 1 GBP = 2 US) yet the price difference didn't reflect that. The exchange rate between GBP and Euro back then was almost 1.5 (1 GBP = 1.5 Euro). That's NOWHERE close £425/€500. That's more like the exchange rate today (like 1 : 1.17).
