Still playing Dark Souls 2 second playthrough. made a faith/co-op build for first time in a souls game. hurling lightning is bad ass but makes the bosses kinda easy. actually, imma go play now
well, magic is kinda overpowered in Souls games, especially in PvP. currently playing Heavy Rain, i like it, though i would probably enjoy it more if i didn't know who the origami killer is. some fucker from GT (don't remember who) spoiled it for me few years ago.
Playing some Hot Shots Golf World Invitational. I still remember playing Hot Shots on PS1. Fun cartoon art style but realistic gameplay. Having a great time.
Tesla Effect - Phenomenal, a perfect recreation of the goodness of 90's PC Adventure gaming. Resident Evil Code Veronica HD: I hit the free mid-save at 00:57, i'm happy with that, I need to both re-learn Chris and up my game to better by best DC time though. Still a great game.
Torchlight II with Torchfun mod and unique Beam (basically a beam on special loot like in D3)
Wolfenstein 2009 - I'm really enjoying it. I'd say it's nearly as good as Return to Castle Wolfenstein (which is my favorite in the series) though I can't believe they didn't put a chaingun in the game.
I just saw you're playing Decent; love that game ^^ What do you think?
Finally finished Killzone Shadow Fall. 2nd half of the game is incredibly dull and felt like a chore to finish.
Modern Warfare 2: Came back to this game yesterday and have been playing for small bursts. Still think its the best CoD, but i really need some new to get my MP fix. I must get me some Titanfall. Dark Souls 2: Went back to the NG+ after watching many lore and secrets videos from VatiiVydia youtube channel. It boosted my motivation and i intend to get the plat for this game. After that i will probably go back to Dark Souls 1, ironically the sequel made me a better Dark Souls player, and there are many new tricks that i didn't really take advantage of in the first game despite logging in 250 hours.
I believe I already made a post about it in this thread. I started playing a few weeks ago and decided to take a break for me it because it's pretty long for what it is. Anyway, I like the game a lot. It's probably amongst my top 10 favorite FPS games. The level design is superb.
You're right! first page and all. Sorry lol. There's another two games in the franchise, although you likely already know that
Nuclear Throne - Great game, lots of fun and perfect for quick rounds.
And Freespace. Not really the same thing but I'll play it as well. Already have Descent II on GOG. 3 is from the (post) win95 era so I'm gonna buy a physical copy of that.
You'd probably be sick by then lol, but Forsaken is similar too if you really find yourself in the mood. You could even dig that fantastic N64 console out to play it on as well
Knowing myself I'll take more than enough time inbetween the games so I won't get sick of it. If I'll play Forsaken you can be sure it's not on the N64
Aww, I has a sad ;_; | |
It's beyond retarded how hard Armored Core: Nexus is now that I'm obviously near the end. Just this and Last Raven (skipping Formula Front and Nine Breaker) and I can move on to the last gen games. Baldur's gate is straight gold. One of my favourite RPGs now. From the encounter design to the combat to the level design to the characters. The story is standard stuff so far (you lived a normal life when something happened, and as it turns out, you're probably not so normal. So you go out and find more than 5 people who're willing to follow you to the death within a week of leaving your sheltered life). I finished the first Persona. I gotta say, it was pretty mediocre. Blade Symphony is a pretty cool multiplayer third person swordfighting game though I'm not good with anyone but the fencer.
Started playing Fire Emblem (the first English one for the GBA). It's my first Fire Emblem and I'm really enjoying it so far. I'm still very early in though.
Playing through GRID 2 again after getting a WD Black 1TB. Wanted to test it out for capture with DxTory. I'm reminded of how horrible the multi-view camera replay is in this game. I've now gotten pretty much all the cars available for the game in the new DLC. The Golf R Performance is very powerful, but they placed the chase cam ridiculously low. You can barely see over the top of it. The car often limits your ability to see well enough when moving through the pack or trying to hit turns precisely. The view of the track can actually be obscured sometimes when on a rise.
SteamWorld Dig. Doesn't hook me so far. I'm hoping the game will pick up.
i gave up on black ops 2 in april of last year, i hated the super fast paced smg heavy nature of the game. i picked it up again yesterday on a whim and its ok, theres alot to like but i still hate the god awful super erratic spawn system. i've never seen spawns swap so fast before, its terrible. the lag comp is also obscenely bad. grateful they fixed a few things however.
Icewind dale 2 is a combat slog, by the time you've finished clearing an area of enemies you'll have forgotten why you're there in the first place.
uncharted 3 one of the worst games i have ever played from a gameplay standpoint, this game is just not fun to play, awful puzzles and awful gunplay, some awesome cinematic moments but my god do i regret spending $10 on this game,
Infamous Second Son? I love it. I've enjoyed this game more than the previous entries. Beautiful visuals, best imo, and fun to screw around.
Child of Light NG+. Love it but god damn, everyone hits like the friggen hulk!
I'm playing several games. Bravely Default: Still love it but I think I broke the game a bit since I got the Paladin class, lol. Chapter 4. Senran Kagura Burst: It's repetitive as hell but kinda has the Dynasty Warriors effect where it's still fun, also very ecchi and I like the characters and humor. Hanzo Chapter 3, Hebijo Chapter 2, I alternate between both groups to have a good difficulty curve. Splatterhouse: Fun in short bursts, I just play 1 chapter every other day, Chapter 11 now, unlocked all 3 old Splatterhouse games. Fuck the arena mode though, 10 waves would have been enough, I hate this shit. Mario Kart Double Dash: In preperation for MK8 and because it's the only MK I never finished, all what's left is getting Gold in Mirror's Master Cup (the one where you drive all 16 courses), I think. I like it better now than back in the days but it's imo still the worst of the MK games. Zero: Gesshoku no Kamen (Fatal Frame 4): Doing a LP of it as I did with the other 3, english patch works well, Chapter 1. Yoshi's New Island: Fun when just playing through, annyoing as fuck if you want to get 100%, which I won't, World 6-1.
I also hate the minigames that you need to control using the gyrosensor (when Yoshi turns into a vehicle). Some are okay, such as the minecart and the sled, but the submarine... good lord.
Dead Rising 3 and Tomb Raider The Definitive Edition.
Currently I am playing MLB 14 The Show on PS4 and I am loving it. I have played a few exhibition games and started up my first Road To The Show character. I have been struggling a little with the hitting but since this is my first MLB game since Triple Play 2000 on PS1 it is expected. I know with enough games I will definitely improve and it will be nice to see how far I can take my character.
Yeah I heard that the Icewind Dale series has a bigger emphasis on combat. I'll have to experience the madness head on.
I picked Hyperdimention Neptunia V back up again and beat Copypaste, kind of forgot what I was doing though which is the trouble when you leave things. I'm afraid to be positive about it though, what with the little anime girls and what not.
I'm big fan of anime but for some reason games like Hyperdimention, idol master or Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA never click with me.
Anime, an RPG, an Idol Similation and a button timing music rhythm game. I wouln't necessaraly expect them to click =s
Well there's all sorts of Anime and some are better than others.
True, I love anime like Eureka Seven way more than To Love-Ru.
