Pretty impressed with the whole map generation system in Path Of Exile (video here if you have not seen it), really enjoyed the game when I gave it a try over the free weekend, exploding corpses was just about the most fun ability I have had in these sorts of games Think I will put the $10 down to support them, just hope I don't get burned out on ARPG's, already have Diablo 3 plus got Torchlight 2 pre-ordered. I do like how they are all going about the genre in a different way though and I think they will feel different enough to make each one worthwhile. Diablo 3 seems to have gone for a lot of polish, I like the design, skills, the narrative and the feel of the game however while some may disagree I think the implementation of the auction house is really poor and I believe that it has influenced a lot of the game design for the worse. Suppose I don't even have to mention the always online issues... Am taking a risk on Torchlight 2 as I have not played the beta but I really enjoyed the first game, respect them for going for a very 'hands free' approach with a lot of modding support and such. Classes look like they may be pretty fun to play. Path of Exile seems to have some of the most innovative ideas of the bunch, I like how they have not chosen to streamline everything and have really done interesting things with the massive passive skill tree, the gems and also the lack of any currency (which I think is a great idea in this sort of game and will negate a lot of the problems Diablo 3 has), I just hope it is successful enough for the devs and they can fulfil their promise of ethical micro transactions. There is also Grim dawn that I know some people are excited for however I know very little about it and never played Titan Quest (I suppose one of these games has to be 'left behind' for me). | |

Agreed. Even with the NiGhts theme I don't like the layout. Just seems silly. I really don't think I'm going to be sticking around long with this. It hurts my eyes even on my lowest brightness. | |

Not a bad decision, the game was not optimal upon release. Post-launch patches have fixed issues, improved performance and even added some features. Definitely worth checking out now. Glad you're considering picking it up, it's not a bad game at all. I myself am hoping for a deal on the 'The Walking Dead' series. I doubt it though, only the first episode has been released, would be weird if they dropped the price on the whole pack. But I'm allowed to hope! I also would like to see AC: Revelations drop down 80%. Not gonna pick it up for any more. Getting Space Marine 80% off would be nice too. Also hoping to get Cryostasis, Shoot Many Robots, From Dust and that mediocre Operation Flashpoint: Red River dirt-cheap. | |

I wouldn't miss it for the world. The first Risen was surprisingly awesome. I really enjoyed taking off around the island and just exploring. I was kind of disappointed when I learned that cave hidden behind the waterfall was a main quest line location. I thought I found that secret all on my own. | |

Is that basically a multiplatform Xfire? If so I can't say that sort of stat tracking really bothers me that much (unless I have totally the wrong idea of what it is). Steam does pretty much everything I need in that regard. I am trying to sort the official thread now a bit, I think I am perhaps going to keep the thread open this time but only for people to ask for specific threads to be added. Raptr is multiplatform, yes, but it's different to Xfire in that you don't need to keep it running to track the games. At least the Steam games. You can link your Steam, Xfire, Xbox and PS3 accounts to RaptR, chat with friends on those platforms through Raptr, see total amount of achievements/playtime across all those platforms, etc. It's more like a facebook for games than what Steam/Xfire is, shows how much you've played one game, compared to your friends etc. It also has relevant news for the games you're playing. And again, you don't need to install/use the client to track games through Steam/Xbox 360/PS3. You only need it running for the games you're playing outside Steam. | |

Oh okay. I never had a PS3, or a console for that matter - since the PS1, and the Commodore 64 before that. I just assumed since you can do it with Xbox-owners, you could do it with PS3-owners too. | |
Speaking of PSN and chat... There is VOIP but it has to be the one implemented in the game itself, the OS does not give the option for it. However I'm not sure if you can chat with a person privately. I don't think even the PSN Plus adds an option for cross game party chat. | |

Well its not the front page, put the vidoes them selfs, on my pc downstairs it was the same, but here the video layout is different, I take screen shot of it. Its just terrible and there no need for it. look at that big white cap, the view screen is smaler and because of the big white cap and smaller screen its harder to concentrate on the video. When you fix things that dont need to be fixed you end up breaking them.
