There's always a point. Why release the PS1? The Super NES was fine. Why release an XBox 360? The XBOx was fine. Why release cars with airbags? Cars were fine before, too. Everything can always be better.

Actually, the engine itself is called CryEngine. CryEngine 2 in the case of Crysis. Crytek is the company that developed it.

I thought this was a really good episode and I can't wait to see what they do in the future. I kind of hope they do make more peripherals. I would still want some games to be controlled with the normal controller but It would definitely be cool to have some of the things they mentioned.

Yep. Motion control and camera movement is cool, but I still like lounging in my chair to play my games.

No matter how cool he is, I have to disagree with Cliffy B on the "one less button" idea for controllers. I think they are perfect as they are, because the controllers have enough buttons to do as many things as you could possibly imagine. One less button would make the controller loot too asymetrical even sounds uncomfortable, like no A/X button or Y/triangle button. The Gamecube controller always felt odd with two shoulder buttons on the right, but one on the left. Just no more buttons now. Keep it as it is.
