If it comes down to it, im going to completely avoid using the shift ability. Same thing with Forza 3 and Dirt's flashback ability. Never used them.

Driver 1 was the best of them all and you never stepped out of the car.

Hardly optional when the entire game revolves around it.
It just looses tension when you dont have to care about making a turn or dodging traffic, just plow ahead with the accelerator pressed down, dont turn, just switch to another car in front.

Can you get out of the car as in parellel lines or driver3(also driver 2 xD)??because if it is all in car i hope it will be like driver1
