Great, great stuff. It'll take me a while to get through all those links...but I know it'll be worth it.

Wingnuts vs the Jahadi lovers, Nov 2 will tell where Americas heart is, hopefully with the wingnuts.

Thank you for giving us these links. And this marvelously strong laughter in the face of the insanity out there.

If I could share some thoughts here on the Islamophobia that I see being whipped up. I think that these folks who are afraid of our own American Muslims just do not know any of them.

I first knew the children as students. Bright and quick, they exuded the confidence and humor of a loved and cared-for child. The kids universally reported that family time every day was the most fun and important time of the day for them. And you could tell they meant it.

Then I met the Moms. So sweet and kissing my cheeks when I came to see them. Focused on their children, honest and forthright.

Them I met the young Muslims, who came to the United States to study International Relations and were my fellow students at the university simulation of the Model Arab League. All of them wanted to make a difference in their region and help their people. Friendly and funny, I debated them; I partied with them.

Once you meet an individual and get to know them as a fellow human being, it is more difficult to hate "their group".
