EASIER TRAVEL WITH THE E-TICKET SERVICE
Train travel has never been more convenient than with our e-railway ticket booking service. All you have to do is print your train ticket at anytime before your trip and you’re ready to go!
Routes and carriers involved
You can use the rail e-ticket service on any travel to destinations in France and Europe:
- On TGV and Intercités railways throughout France.
- On TGV railways throughout Europe: Paris - Luxembourg, TGV Brussels - France and TGV Lyria.
How to use the e-ticketing service
After making your railway ticket booking, select ""e-ticket service"" under the tab indicating ticket withdrawal methods. You’ll receive two emails once the payment of your train ticket has been confirmed:
- The first email will contain the order confirmation of your online railway reservation. Please note: this email is not your ticket.
- The second email will contain your e-ticket and serves as your train ticket once it’s printed.
What to take traveling
Save yourself precious time at the train station: no need to validate your ticket or deal with other administrative formalities. Once you get onboard, simply present:
- The e-ticket detailing your train reservation. After receiving your train ticket booking via email, print your e-ticket. (Please note: the confirmation email is not your ticket)
- Some form of ID
Lost your e-ticket?
Don’t worry about it! You can re-print your e-ticket as often as you want at no extra charge.
Exchanging and cancelling e-ticket
Cancelling or modifying your trip is easy - with an e-ticket, you’ll benefit from optimum flexibility:

Tickets are on sale between 3 months and 14 days before the date of departure. Tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable. On-line payment is required. Tickets can be sent to your home address free of charge or collected at a French station or a Rail Europe shop in Milan, Madrid, Geneva, Cologne or Brussels (€7 supplement payable). Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or SNCF reduction.
