Every time I suggest this, the hard-right goes absolutely ballistic, and quite a few of my liberal colleagues aren't too keen on the idea, either. I fully expect quite a few hostile comments in response to this article.
It seems as though nearly every person I debate (or argue with) in regards to Arizona's immigration law is under the bizarre impression that by protesting the law's passage, I'm somehow trying to defend the rights of illegal immigrants.
