Shahram Amiri says he was subjected to "the harshest mental and physical torture".

An Iranian scientist who claims he was kidnapped by the CIA has said he was subjected to extreme mental and physical torture by the Americans.

Shahram Amiri, who has flown from the US to Tehran, also denied being heavily involved in Iran's nuclear programme.

"For the world to tackle truly important problems, people have to stop looking to religion to guide their moral compasses.."

In his recent speech to the UN General Assembly, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu focused in his opening remarks on the Holocaust. "One-third of all Jews perished in the great conflagration of the Holocaust," Netanyahu reminded the delegates.
