This tutorial will show you how to install WordPress engine with GoDaddy hosting control panel. The procedure is fast and easy, it won’t need you to upload anything to the server, create any databases etc. The automatic installation will do everything for you.
1. Open GoDaddy hosting control panel. Click the WordPress link in the Install Apps block.
2. Make sure your hosting plan matches the WordPress requirements. If everything is ok click the Install button.
3. Check the license agreement.
4. Choose the domain name for your future WordPress blog.
5. Setup the database. Input the database description and password.
6. Input the WordPress installation root. It’s a directory there the WordPress files would be placed. Also the installation root would be the URL for your website.
7. Input the website administrator access details: username, password and email. And the WordPress website title.
