President Donald Trump laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on Memorial Day.
Trump joined Vice President Pence, Gen. James Mattis [Ret.] and several other dignitaries and civilians at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
After Trump walked out to the tomb, a band played the "Star-Spangled Banner" and a sentry joined Trump in carrying a large wreath to the spot.

A bugle solemnly played Taps, almost 155 years after the tune was first played at a military funeral.
Since the tune first echoed along the banks of the Chickahominy River in Virginia, more than a million Americans have given their lives for our country.
