Kathy Griffin offered support for fellow comedian Samantha Bee after the TBS late night host called Ivanka Trump a "feckless c---."

Griffin, who was heavily criticized last year for posing with a fake severed head made to look like President Trump, had targeted White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders in a tweet one day before.

Sanders brought up Griffin at Wednesday's press briefing, asking why she had not apologized to the president for previous statements.

Griffin responded, "B***h, do not come for me. I did not call you.  And for f***s sake, take a cold reading class, maybe you won’t stumble so much," she wrote.

Sanders' father, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, responded Friday on "America's Newsroom," calling for an end to the "vile and vulgar language" on both sides.

He said the left respects women on their side, but reserve "scorn" and vile insults for the women with whom they disagree. 

Heather Childers asked Huckabee how his daughter handles the insults, including about her character and appearance. 

"I don't think she enjoys it, but Sarah knows who she is. Her faith, her connection to Christ is something that gives her a sense of grounding and centering. She knows her ultimate judge is not gonna be some hideous comedian. Her ultimate judge is the God who created her, who knows her a whole lot better than Kathy Griffin or Samantha Bee," Gov. Huckabee responded.
