Greg Gutfeld reacted to a series of highly charged anti-Trump and pro-"shunning" remarks made by Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), MSNBC's "Morning Joe" panelist Donny Deutsch and other news personalities.

Gutfeld said Washington Post writer Jennifer Rubin called for a return of the "lost art of shunning," after White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders was asked to leave a Lexington, Va eatery. 

He said "shunning" is not a lost art, but was previously used to discriminate against people on basis of race and religion, adding that Rubin simply doesn't like President Donald Trump.

"Maxine Waters wants more than just shunning," he added, playing tape of the Los Angeles Democrat calling for public pushback against Trump administration officials.

"Where will this end?" he asked, noting that he has an idea of where the politically charged trend began.

Gutfeld said this new trend "started" last week after Deutsch, a New York advertising executive, said on "Morning Joe" that Trump supporters were "like Nazis" for using their 2016 votes to facilitate the president's current treatment of illegal immigrants and asylum seekers.

"If you vote for Trump, then you -- the voter -- you -- not Donald Trump -- are standing at the border like Nazis, going 'here', 'here'," Deutsch said, decrying the "evilness of Donald Trump."
