I've been to bosnia twice. We had interpreters that were assigned to us, and we got to know them pretty well. They were muslim, but the "moderate" type that apologists like to throw in the face of islamaphobes. Anyways, they drank, gave up on ramadan 3 days into it...not too serious about their islam, ya know? It's like they followed the religious part of it, and didn't care too much for all the other stuff. Anyways, one of them had a conversation with me one time about since the end of the war in 95, the saudis had poured funding into the country to build mosques, sent in their own imams, sponsored religious education trips to saudi and yemen, and of course recruit to the dark side. Anyways, this dude was saying that things were getting bad, sermons were becoming anti-kuffar and it really made him uncomfortable. He switched mosques. He didn't like what was going on, but couldn't do anything...

This is back in 2003, so I'm sure that agenda has been furthered, and now the eggs are starting to hatch...

Krishna,

I did one tour in Bosnia...the Wahhabists rallied in Bosnia during the time of the Serb oppression...they married locals and settled into the area. Mosques built by Saudis are required to teach the Wahhabist version of Islam.....hope this helps.

Islam is actually getting more radical, rather than less-- in many countries around the world-- due mainly to the Saudis. They have huge amounts of surplus cash from oil-- and it keeps increasing. And they contribute it to radicalize mosques, worldwide. Many formerly "moderate" (actauly, a better word would be "apolitical") mosques have been radicalized.

And in addition to suing their money to radicalize other Muslim institutions, they are also contributing large amounts of money to instituions like the Jimmy Carter Library, many American universities...even, beleive it or not, to Human Rights Watch (yes-- they received Saudi money!!!).

Not om;y in the Balkans-- its worldwide.
There is a huge campaign to radicalize formerly moderate Muslims. And to silennce information about this getting out (if you are interested in that aspect of it, check out the NV group Ehrenfeld vs. bin Mahfouz.
