Using phpBB

After you have installed phpBB, please use the administrative link provided in SimpleScripts to access the login area.

1. Enter the Admin Username you selected when installing phpBB.
2. Enter the Admin Password.
3. Click the Login button.

Creating a new topic

1. Click the NEW TOPIC button.
2. Give your new topic a subject.
3. Enter the information to be displayed.
4. Select any applicable options for your topic.
5. Click the Submit button.

Change your Forum's Theme

1. Scroll down to the bottom of your screen and click on the Administration Control Panel link.
2. Please enter your User Name and password again.
3. Click the Styles menu item.
4. This list will show all the themes that have been uploaded to your forum's Styles folder.
5. To install a theme, click the install link.
6. Select any applicable install options.
7. Click the Submit button.

Your new theme is ready for use.
