From the article:
Larry Klein was the man who heard the alleged victim's cries for help. Police the suspect pulled the woman off the street to a dumpster and raped her.

"I could see the back of his head. I could see his pants were down. I could see her lying on the ground. I could hear her crying, but I couldn't really see her face," said Klein

Lock the border down.

Klein called police, who quickly arrested the suspect. But learning his identity took much longer because of some 30 aliases. It was only through fingerprints that they identified him as Madrigal, a Mexican citizen.

Madrigal's arrest and immigration record includes a staggering number of contacts with law enforcement since 1989. That's the year he was convicted of theft using a firearm in California.

He was deported a couple of times after that. Then in 1999, he was arrested for drug sales in both San Diego and San Francisco. Records show that he was deported three times that year between April and August.

He was arrested for drugs again in Stockton, Calif. in 2000. In 2002, he pleaded to third degree sexual assault in Denver. Later that year, he was deported again. And in 2003, records show he was deported three more times.

People who live near the scene of Sunday's alleged rape wonder how it could keep happening.

"Makes you wonder, what are we doing wrong? How is he getting back in here?" said Kirby Aumick.

"It’s troubling. I mean, if this man should not have been in this country, he should have been behind bars then, really, this is a senseless tragedy," said Klein.

Isn't this a shining example of why we should keep our borders open to every life form that wants to use our country for a playground?

In the United States, if you are an American citizen, commit a crime, you get sent to jail.

If you are an ILLEGAL alien and commit a crime, you get airfare.

One criminal justice source says Madrigal is a "poster boy" for the federal governments ineffectiveness at keeping the most serious "criminal aliens" – illegals who commit crimes – out of the United States.

NO TO AMNESTY!! How many more are hiding in shadows just like this guy? No amnesty.

Just another harmless Hispanic trying to better his life by coming to America.

Eventually, the American public will tire of these stories, and we will just start murdering people like this, and nobody will ever say a word about it.

When Americans start trying to enforce the laws and protecting ourselves we get called racist. It isn't about race it's about criminals breaking laws and getting a free ride.

Time for all US citizens to stand up for what is right and stop throwing pity parties for these scumbags IMO.

And what the warm fuzzy people won't admit to is....when illegal aliens are here....they are committing fraud when working because ...they are either working under the table, or with a stolen SSN's.....that is a FELONY....you get deported once and return...that is a FELONY....

You go through with "immigration reform" - AMNESTY...you have given all these criminals a clean slate.

You tell me any crime a legal U.S. citizen can commit....and have it wiped clean?

What we need is a fence...along the entire border.

That-- plus good patrols.

Aside from the expected questions of how was Madrigal allowed to remain free, I really want to know where Larry Klein's balls were that day. He could plainly see the crime in progress, yet he watched as he called the police (who knows how long it took them to get there) and did nothing to help the victim. He only gets a pass if he's crippled or over seventy years old. I am sick nigh unto death of the cowardice I see from my fellow citizens on an almost daily basis.

News flash people: If you hear a woman's screams of "rape" coming from an alley and you see a man on top of her with his pants around his ankles, then there is no question that a real, honest-to-goodness RAPE is in progress. Throw a rock, a shoe, a trashcan, shout "I'm calling the police" or "Let's get him, boys!", DO SOMETHING. Standing and watching while waiting for the cops to show up doesn't count. @!$%#ing country's full of pansies anymore.

As for Mr. Madrigal, I say no more free rides home for you. Enjoy the comforts of a 4x10 two-bunk and the hospitality of its permanent inhabitant, Bubba the Bull-queer, until such a time as you are hanged by the neck until dead.

They aren't interested in any facts, they just want to trade in emotions and charges of racism. If Mexicans were white, and voted Republican, it would be okay to keep them out
