Mewy Christmas!

The Christmas Trees

Every year, on a Saturday about a week before Christmas, we had a family excursion to the country woodlands to find a Christmas tree. Mom would get up early and fix a breakfast of pancakes and bacon and then fix sandwiches to take with us on our outing.

Over the River and Through the Woods...

My youngest son used to sing this when he and the children would come to see me over the holidays. Although I lived in a small town, you actually had to drive over the Coosa River and through the woods to get to "Grandma's" house.

Samad...A Tale of a Shelter Cat

Well, hello everyone. I am a Lynx Point Persian who, for some unknown reason, was left at a horrible place. I believe the humans call it a shelter. I call it a dungeon, or prison, as I have never seen anything like this in reference to shelter.

Between You, Me and the Fence Post...and other sayings

I am sure most of you have heard the title saying. It is supposed to mean that the person to whom you are speaking and you are the only ones who will ever know what is being said. That it will never be repeated to anyone else.

I've Been Deleted???

It seems that there are some here who can delete your comment just because they don't agree with what you say. I have seen comments and links on articles that would be in violation of the COH and are way off topic (and even would be considered hijacking) that were left in.
