Considering I have not beta-read any stories officially as of yet, I cannot provide much information. I do know what I am doing when it comes to grammar and the like. I expect any stories sent to me to have been proofread and spellchecked by the author previously. If you don't care about your story, I certainly don't. I don't have to beta anyone's story-much less one that is uncared for. Categories I will beta: Harry Potter, Breakfast Club, Dead Poets Society, Naruto, Shelter, Prince of Tennis (I am not as up to date in this category, and I am only familiar with the Seigaku Tennis Team.), Scrubs, Labyrinth, Die Hard, and Criminal Minds (I love this fandom, though I am not as familiar with it.)

I am good at spotting errors-especially mistakes in which you have substituted an incorrect word in place of the correct one. What I mean by that is, for example, mistakenly substituting defiantly for definitely.

My weaknesses. Hmm. I think a weakness would be that sometimes, I overly-criticize.

Stories I would prefer to beta would probably be stories I would enjoy reading. I would prefer stories in which some effort has been made. Mistakes are acceptable, but not making effort in the knowledge that your story will be beta'd anyway is hogwash. I would prefer Harry Potter, but any of the previously mentioned categories would be fine.

I think I wouldn't like to beta any stories with rape scenes or the like. I wouldn't beta in categories I've not mentioned. If I am not familiar with the background story of a particular fandom, it may be hard to beta.
