I've always been a meticulous person, because it's in my nature. I have this tendency to proofread practically everything, from post-it stamps to the summary section at the back of DVD covers. You get what I mean. So, you can count on me to do my job as a beta-reader :)

Anyway, when it comes to my betareading style, well, it's pretty non-existent. All that you have to do is ask me to betaread your work and I'll gladly oblige. I take this job seriously. Seriously.

Okay, I don't expect much from those who require my betareading skills (just give me a sufficient amount of time), in fact, it should be the other way around. You should expect me to deliver my best or at least be a decent beta-reader (why else would I sign up, right?) and 90% of the time, I'll be no where short of satisfactory. Boasting much? Nah, I beg to differ. I'm just confident in what I do.

My strengths, eh?

Grammar, vocabulary, spelling, paragraphing, etc. Pretty much important factors required to make a decent story. Oh, and I have a knack for spotting Mary Sues. They just annoy the heck out of me, and I think it's the duty of every respectable betareader out there to annihilate such vile creations of the human mind.

I'm blunt, straightforward, honest, brusque, direct, frank & every other possible alternate word that means, "I tell it like it is".

But I'm not saying I'll raze your story to the ground, what I mean is that you've asked me to help improve your storytelling, nothing more, nothing less. So that's what I'm going to do :)

You can refer to my category preferences. It's mighty specific; but that doesn't mean I won't venture into other stories/genre at all. It just depends on how much potential your story has.

Anything that's way too sexual in content, unless it's tastefully done. I'd like to sleep in peace, meaning not having to stare wide-eyed at the ceiling in an attempt to erase what I've read.
