I try to help not only with making your story readable but also improving your skills as a writer. My goal is to help you get your story to do what you want it to do. I tend to give long, detailed critiques with the goal of not only improving your story, but also helping you improve as a writer.

Characterization, flow, and plot development are my specialties. I enjoy the craft and structure of stories as much as I do the imaginative and creative aspects and can help you build complex and multilayered stories. I'm good at doctoring fight scenes. I know how to use sentence length and word rhythm to convey a sense of speed in battle.

More of a style choice, but I have a tendency to recommend trimming excess scenery description. I do respect individual style choices and won't be upset if you choose to disregard it. I find accents written out in dialog distracting, especially if it's an accent I'm not familiar with.

I have a weakness for crossovers and time travel fics, but I'll read nearly any genre of story.

I'm not a huge fan of PWP. I like to have some plot to accompany romance. I generally don't like slapstick humor. No femmeslash/yuri, robots giving birth, or mpreg. Nothing against it, just not my kind of story.
