Becca chapter 1 . 6/19/2015 This is AWESOME. Your characterization is perfect and the diolouge is fascinating. So many great lines: "I sensed you missed me", " She has these strange trust issues", wanting to "see if you've done anything in the time I've been away that made it worth me saving your life." I'm in love with whole last half, when Ressler starts asking Red the big questions. I want those answers so bad. And thanks to you, I now constantly wonder if Red really was the one who called Audrey. :) |
trulyyoursfiction chapter 1 . 1/29/2014 "She has these strange trust issues when it comes to me. I'll never understand it." Haha! That is golden! It's me again, yes, I am binge-reading all of your Blacklist fiction. It's all gold. I especially like this story. You handle Ressler and Reddington both so well! Often one of them is used as a prop for the other in stories, but here they both hold their own! This deserves more reviews! I know it's a one-shot, but I would love to see more! |
alynwa chapter 1 . 1/12/2014 Not sure about Donald, but you definitely have found Red's voice. This line sounds exactly like him: "I sensed you missed me, Donald. I didn't want you pining." Perfect. |
jjgoodhope chapter 1 . 1/12/2014 Okay, I'll admit I'm not a Ressler fan, though I am liking him more as time goes on. That being said, I want to tell you how much I enjoyed this story and their interaction. I'm hoping for a chapter two! Thanks much! |
Jessahme Wren chapter 1 . 1/12/2014 I think this is great; as far as characterization, this is one of the few extended-scene Red and Ressler stories that I have found to be an accurate grasp of both of them. Admittedly, I almost didn't read this (I read mostly Lizzington), but I saw it was you and I remembered that I enjoy your writing. I'm glad I did. I like the line about Red seeing whether or not his life was worth saving. Spot on. I would be interested to see you continue. |
