I love how the whole piece reeks of Irene thinking, "What a fucking idiot.", pertaining to both Sherlock and her own sentiment. She sounds so frustrated! :)

Very well written. The last paragraph was so detailed- you saw Irene and her worry within the words. Liked it.

I really like the writing style of this one-shot: riveting, touching and kind of poetic.
Plus, you did a wonderful job with the characterisation of Irene - kudos!

Absolutely gorgeous and quite a delightful read.

This was short, sweet and I really enjoyed reading it. You made Irene out to be the tough girl that she was and I always love it when people tackle stories from her perspective, I'm actually kind of glad that it wasn't revolved around her meeting up with Sherlock too, makes it quite believable. Also, some of the language you used was beautiful, such as the small few sentences about stitching up her heart without leaving a scar. :) So thanks for the pleasant little short story and good luck with writing in the future.
