I found River's perspective interesting. You did a nice job.
Susan M. M chapter 1 . 6/22/2014
Powerfully, painfully poignant.
Shaydy80 chapter 1 . 4/15/2014
Amazing, simply amazing. Your characterizations are spot on and even the sadness was uplifting because it made their love story seem more real. Wonderful. Thank you for sharing and I look forward to reading more.

I have no words to describe what this has done to me. Let's just say that it's a good thing I'm alone. Pardon me while I find a Kleenex. You are 18385% brill, dear author. Good sad accomplished.
superlc529 chapter 1 . 4/12/2014
That was a 'good' kind of sad... sort of. ;) But that's just what the Doctor and River's relationship is like anyway. I never really drew that parallel before of how the Doctor wanted to talk to Amy in the Pandorica and wanted to talk to River in 'Let's Kill Hitler.' And it was backwards for River, she remembered 'LKH' already, obviously...

Great job! Maybe something 'happier' next time, huh? ;) :P Keep up the great work. :D
Jabba1 chapter 1 . 4/12/2014
Gah this is so horribly wonderful, it almost reminds me of what a couple would go through if one of them was suffering from alzheimers or dementia.

Great job, one of the most heart breaking moments was when he couldn't remember how to make her tea.

Keep up the great work.
Kina Kalamari chapter 1 . 4/11/2014
Yes, there is definitely a good kind of sad, and yes, this was definitely it.

This was absolutely incredible. I mean, your oneshots usually are, but still. I loved the style you wrote it in, and your prose was wonderful. It is interesting how in some ways their relationship is like amnesia. I thought that the other day while watching an episode of Fringe, actually. There was a woman who had gotten early onset Alzheimer's, and with her husband talking about how she didn't know him anymore it was kind of impossible for me not to see the parallels.

And then there's the fact that having the build up of the whole "memory" idea made your Darillium scene that much more heartbreaking and beautiful.

This was just all around amazing. Thank you. :)
