I'm a tad bit late in the game-I don't know if you still read reviews for this, but I'll leave a review anyway. OMFG this story was fantastic! The imagery and the diction took my breath away! I felt with the characters, I felt their joy, their despair, their PAIN. I'll have you know, I shed tears reading this AT WORK. Probably shouldn't have been reading it at work but details, you so much for this story, it moved me in a way I haven't felt in a long while. I applaud your success at creating such an enrapturing piece and wish you success in all other endeavors!

I absolutely loved this story. It's beautifully written. It was a great idea to take out the Inutachi for this story, just bringing back Inuyasha a few times (so refreshing not dealing with Inuyasha being an ass over Kagome or the usual Kikyo drama but be happy with his mate and stand by as Kagome's friend), and have a whole new supporting cast for this new adventure with a new evil. I loved your OCs Takashi and Kohana. Even Goro and the rest of the castle staff and guards. Your characters are all wonderful. Kagome was great and Sesshomaru was awesome. You really captured the icy stoic lord very well and did a great job of having Kagome be able to see through his blunt remarks to see that they actually masked his care and concern and were not meant to be cold insults as everyone else saw them as - that way I didn't find him OOC at all simply his actions hinted towards some respect/acceptance of Kagome which could've easily been gained through their Naraku years, and only hinting at something possibly more underlying his emotions. Your writing style was lovely. I bawled by eyes out at the end and was even starting to suspect whether you'd just keep Kagome dead! Man that was pure angst at its best...and I loathe angst! lol.

Absolutely marvellous story, I loved it. I just realized that I've read your other works. Kingdom Walls was ok but I loved Hime Tradition and really loved His Milestones. That's another excellent work which I'm hoping you'll finish someday. Thanks so much for sharing!

You know, I hate hate hate 1st person POV in novels and have always thought they should be kept for writing diaries only but I loved this chapter. A first as it's hard for me to find any 1st person POV I can tolerate, let alone like! It was a wonderful way to gain insight into Sesshomaru and other's perceptions of him, and Kagome, and it was handled beautifully showing just how perfect they are for each other, and not overdone but just enough in this one chapter. I prefer to review after reading the whole story but just had to interject here with this note. Well done! :)
