I like your insights into the characters of both Charles and Erik, and your examination of the probable effects of solitary confinement on Erik's already-tormented psyche. The others are well-characterized in their more minor roles. This is good work, and genuinely moving.

I liked it! I don't think I've read a fic yet that touches on the effects of ten years of solitary confinement and yours did so splendedly. I also liked the characterization you used... Everyone seemed very much in-character and I particularly liked how protective you made Hank without making it a triangle relationship thing. Jimmy's brief appearance was well timed and humorous. Charles throughout was sensitive and kind... I usually like him a little less saint-like, but he fit well into this story. Broken Erik just made me want to snuggle him. All in all it was a very sweet story!
