For the kingdom of Insects might I suggest honey from beehives draped in lion pelts? It's insect-appropriate, and references a biblical story - Samson's riddle.

Very good writting. I have just finished reading through all 4 of your works in this series and I love them all.

I love the development you give all the characters. It is very satisfying to see the change and develop throughout the series. I especially like Mephisto's character. His relationship with Lucifer is interesting as really adds to his character and motivations. You really get a sense that he has put a lot of time and effort into his goals to the point of no returns, allowing you to somewhat sympathises with him. I never really liked Renzo but you write him well, making him more understandable and not annoying.

The lore and myth you incorporate into your fics is also great. I love reading about Gemmana and Ashura and the connection between the two as well as the stuff about bonds, promises and demon oaths. Rin and Bon's oath relationship is always interesting to here about. The stuff about the walls is really cool and I haven't read anything like is.

Glad Rin decided to stand up to Snow, otherwise he would have definitely would have failed the test. I'm a little surprised Renzo decided to not take the test. I like concerned Angel. Happy fit your boy doing better.

I am hoping that Rin passes his test, and think that the guy giving him the oral exam is a jerk...I liked the quick conversation between Angel and Renzo, and I can't wait to see what comes of Angel looking out for him with his mom being someone he knew.

Fantastic chapter. :) I really enjoyed the scenes where they were taking the tests. It was entertaining for sure. XD

It's nice to see Angel starting to get involved in things outside the True Cross' orders. He's one of my favorite characters here.

hmm first contact since the incident!

I loved the chapter! Nice break from all the crap everyone is normally worrying about. It's so sweet hire many people came to wish Rin happy birthday and I think it was a good time for Run and Yukio to finally make contact. I think that's why Mephisto stopped by; to see if Rin was doing well enough to talk to his brother. Probably the best gift Rin got.

The omake was really cute and funny. "Is Meda's hair why Mamushi wants to adopt her?"
"It's A reason yes."
I bet Meda isn't used to having someone take care of her snakes.

Last thing, have you ever heard of ba game called fisbin? Because I read the monopoly bit and couldn't get that Star Trek scene out of my head.

And how's your little boy doing? You said the tumor was mostly gone and he was allowed home. He doing better? You holding up okay?

I loved the Monopoly game:-) And the bit about Rin's birthday being in December around Christmas? I'll never understand why people think folks born around that time should be deprived of gifts because they already get Christmas gifts. My birthday is four days before Christmas, and thankfully my parents never thought that. I mean...I have three siblings with summer birthdays, so I totally get what Renzo was saying. Also, that bit at the end? With Yukio? Kinda heart wrenching...I'm not one to cry at reading, but I teared up a bit at that. I'm assuming that this story is coming close to an end maybe, and curious to see if you'll be continuing more with Yukio later.

Yay, the kids that Yukio took care of are in this chapter. I had wondered what had happened to them. I'm so glad that Rin didn't fall back into old habits and can express himself without the guilt.
