| Swiss Army Knife chapter 13 . 4/7/2015 I read this whole story this morning, and it was really satisfying. To see the whole scope from beginning to end, especially with the freshness of an outside perspective, was wonderful. I loved the inner workings of your Mycroft, and the subtler impression we got of the doctor and Holmes from his observations seemed very right. My favorite part was the conversations Mycroft and Holmes had in the beginning when Mycroft is still figuring out that Watson isn't an ordinary kind of roommate and might even be liked, of all things, by his brother for companionship's sake alone. I also loved the ending, the twilight years of both men and the conclusion. Thank you for your work. It was a lovely story. |

| chapter 13 . 2/22/2015 What a great ending! I also imagine Holmes and Watson living together in Sussex. Watson shouldn't be apologetic about "only" being a writer. I'm sure he did more for posterity as an author than he ever did as a doctor. Ditto for Holmes as the subject of Watson's stories. Now I'm off to look at your other works. Thanks for writing this. |
