Is Milady de Winter A Good Cook?
Sachita chapter 1 . 12/13/2016
This is such a wonderful story filled with hope for a better ending for Athos and Milady. The only thing I would wish for is some kind of continuation of this, maybe a second chapter wherein Milady actually appears. But it is a wonderful little piece on its own too. Very well-done, kudos to you.
Hawaiichick chapter 1 . 11/2/2016
Loved getting more insight into the Athos and Milady relationship. I love the complexity of it and how you explored the meaning of her actions. How clever to point out that, while she took one brother away (Thomas), she also brought one back (Aramis). Nicely put!

This story is one of the best I've read so far-thank you so much for sharing!:)
celticgal1041 chapter 1 . 3/30/2015
What a wonderfully written story. Loved the initial moments between Athos and Aramis and then the others' comments afterwards when Athos asks for their blessing. Thank you for writing and sharing this!
Ecri chapter 1 . 3/30/2015
That was beyond lovely. Closer to perfection. If only the Musketeers would speak to each other on the show the way they do in your fanfics. It was a truly satisfying addition to the episode.
Margret15 chapter 1 . 3/30/2015
I truly enjoyed this additional scene to 2x10. When I saw Athos walking Constance down the aisle (so sweet they held hands) the thought occurred to me , that he might be thinking of Anne (in connection to him I rather prefer to call her "Anne" and not "Miladay", also I think in the last two epis she has been very much more Anne than Milady). I am not sure, if he himself had been ready to leave with her to England if they had met, I prefer your idea of having him talked to her to try to work out a way to "try to make something of a life together here".
I appreciate your concept of having his Musketeer family involved in this and I think you managed to stay true to the characters. They all know each other so well and care so much for each other, so in the end even d Artagnan agreed, even if reluctantly, to accept Anne (well in regard to d Artagnan I am tempted to call her Milady again) as a part of Athoslife. Wise decision of Athos to ask him last and I cherish the idea, his reluctant agreement might have something to do with Constances understanding and generous attitude. Also I loved you stressed a special bond between Athos and Constance, because it matches the admirable way Athos walked her down the aisle in 2x10.

I am not sure, if this is finished here or if you have planned some more chapters, in any case it is a wonderful addition to 2x10, which I have read with great fun. Thank you!
Sarah chapter 1 . 3/30/2015
Enjoyed reading that, got me teary at some parts and had me giggling at others. Really well done. Can understand the delay for Finding Athos, that finale (and the ninth episode) had me wiped out.

just like aramis to want to talk at such a time!
i wish athos will get the chance to at least try to have a life with anne
Snow-Glory chapter 1 . 3/29/2015
I'm just glad you're back writing! :) and this was wonderful! I am new to this fandom, having binge watched the first season and almost all the second until I got caught up. And I adore this show! Aramis being my fave!
Mountain Cat chapter 1 . 3/29/2015
As usual I enjoy whatever you write. You already know that I'm not thoroughly convinced by Milady's version of events, but I believe in redemption and I too want Athos to be happy so if that requires that he reconnect with Milady then I'm prepared to welcome her back to the side of the angels. (And she's a terrific character. Loved her rescue of Aramis. Very sassy.) Her wit and courage are a good match for Athos. And calling Rochefort a snake insults snakes. Snakes usually strike only in self-defense. Except possibly copperheads.

I just love a new story from you! You know these guys so well. Aramis' and Athos' conversation was brilliantly done. D'Artagnan's hesitation at accepting Athos' decision was very in character and nicely handled and his response was perfect-"Just be careful please. Anne is not the only one who loves you." I love that Treville and Constance were included. Oh so nicely done. Thank you so much!
