Tacpebs chapter 1 . 8/30/2016 I liked it! Nicely done. |
bjq chapter 1 . 12/3/2015 AWESOME |
scousemuz1k chapter 1 . 10/3/2015 Read this a month ago and only just realised I never reviewed... so this is late, even for me. I hope Tony really did get all the nice things we never saw in the episode; wow, even Fornell turned up. Ziva... plus ca change - but hey, you know you can write her as egotistical and tactless as you like and I'll be happy. I think my favourite bit was Tony's promise to learn how to breathe through Abby right away. Oh, and the biohazard. |
Ladyaloysius chapter 1 . 9/23/2015 You made me remember how breathtaking that episode was for Tony and all of us who watched! Don't know what to say either! Good job, Tony! Good job, ytteb! |
amaia chapter 1 . 8/18/2015 I wish NCIS had done your version of Requiem; Tony got recognition...& the thanks he really deserved. "...bio-hazard cookies..." ;-) |
Frakking Toasters chapter 1 . 8/16/2015 I really hope Tony got this much recognition and praise the next day. Sadly, I've run out of faith when it comes to this team. Still, a lot of it came from outside the immediate team, so that ups the likelihood. And Gibbs recognising what he did and telling him he did good IN PRIVATE seems exactly Gibbs style! God forbid he should praise Tony where other people might overhear him. Bitter? Who? Me?! This was a lovely "maybe" scenario. Tony most definitely deserved praise, thanks, awards and to be showered in goodness after that epic save. I really hate that the show gave us none of it. So great job. xo |
lmill123 chapter 1 . 8/9/2015 Great story and I loved the bio-hazard cookies, everything that you could do wrong or could go wrong was in those cookies. I found totally funny. I did love Tim's confusion and wanting to know HOW Tony had been able to do it. Tim realized that Tony should NOT have been able to do what he did and more than likely knew that Tony had done something that was next to impossible for anyone to have managed. Much less someone with scared lungs like Tony has. I loved how Tony told Tim that he would have been able to do the same because you do what you have to do. Tony realized that what Ziva had said was high praise comeing from her, even if it was a put down. I loved the children and the praise from Baloba. I loved Ducky's concern and him being angry at Gibbs for his stunt that put several people's lives in danger. Abby, well, I would have really loved to have given her a head slap and I am sure others would have also if they had heard what she had said. It really seemed that all she cared about was that her Silver Haired Fox was okay. And the black Roses, really? I will say that I think Tony would have loved Fornell's gift the most, not so much the food, that he would love, but the fact that Fornell was rubbing it in Sacks face what Tony had done. Now Gibbs? I would have felt like decking him. He couldn't even man up and tell Tony thanks or job well done while others were around to have heard him give Tony a word of praise. There was no reason why Gibbs couldn't have said something when Jenny told everyone that SHE had written a letter of commendation. And it also seemed that Gibbs offer to drive Tony home seemed more like an order that had come from Ducky. As Tony's thoughts ran about how Gibbs would do something before the years was out to make what he had done seem like nothing. It always seemed that when other agents I love your stories and your writing and can hardly wait for what you come up with next. |
lezzles1956 chapter 1 . 8/8/2015 I loved that! SO funny - brilliant work... thankyou Lezzles x |
Jesco0307 chapter 1 . 8/7/2015 There's so much to love in this fic, where to begin? First of all, Tony gets recognition for saving Gibbs and Maddie. Which is, basically, what should happen. It had me giggling a little, because I'd be content with a simple "thank you" from Gibbs and Abby with the huge vase and the kids with the glitter sprinkled card where hilarious (at least in my eyes :)). Then comes Ducky's concern for Tony and his rather cold shoulder for a certain team lead. I loved that! Jimmy and the biohazard cookies where basically everything went wrong (and that nobody wanted) are priceless! Also, Tony thoughts about the award - and isn't that the truth? Poor Tony. Now Ziva and Tim. I'm not sure if Tim is just overwhelmed and afraid he wouldn't react that way (and good reaction from Tony telling him that yes, he would have) or if can't believe Tony is capable of doing it and is just blown away by this. I (want to) think it's the first choice :). Now Ziva...damn, you've really nailed her and all I despise about the character. A small compliment followed by the big put down. Blergh. And all that shit about how Mossad would have done it better. Mossad CPR? That one had me in stitches though. I googled the bamba...and think I know a similar snack, although not with peanut butter but just peanut taste. Makes me very curious. :) I like this version. Now I'll always imagine that that's what happened the next day. :) |
pfyre1 chapter 1 . 8/6/2015 Oh, I liked this. Poor Tony not quite expecting or used all that praise and treats. Do love the kids creating a glitter covered card for him. And I do love that Ziva cannot give a simple compliment without adding some criticism to it as well. And poor McGee practically speechless over Tony's heroic deeds. |
angelscatie chapter 1 . 8/6/2015 Great story. Now if only that could have happened on the show |
Buckeye am I chapter 1 . 8/6/2015 Bio hazard cookies. Oh dear. Good read. People love Tony! |
NCIS fan chapter 1 . 8/6/2015 I agree. We do wish that Tony's "day after" went like that. The mental image of peanut butter flavored termites is awesome! |
Guest chapter 1 . 8/5/2015 Thanks for story |
shadocat chapter 1 . 8/5/2015 Required was an amazing episode and the opening was heart stopping. Loved this day 2 story. And Tim is right, our Tony is a goofball but he has what it takes when he needs it. I like the rare badazz Tony flashes we get occasionally. Loved Palmer's description of the alleged cookies too. Another gem! :D |
