Haha, it's hilarious how Alan thought that girls go after whatever guy they first see and Manon thinks same with guys. XD Also, Manon's adorable so shame on those gossiping girls! And thanks for addressing their ages, even if it's not official. Sometimes, it's hard to tell. Nicely done!

First off I think the title is fine! I'm weak on titles too to be honest. This chapter was much more solid then the last I have to say! I enjoyed the shopping and Alain standing up for Mairin. Stuff like that always makes my heart melt.

Nitpick: mostly grammar things, like using "hear" instead of "here".

Something you should work on is showing how the characters feel a little better. Like when Mairin was getting made fun of, you should've focused in on her reaction a bit more.

Other than that I really enjoyed this! I'm glad to see more stuff for this ship, I really do love them to bits and pieces.

Oh! Last thing is that the point of fanfiction is to explore things that wouldn't happen in the series. Like romance. Yeah, the Pokemon anime tends to stay away from romance (though not entirely, as seen with Ash/Misty in the Orange Islands, Drew/May in Advanced Generation, and Kenny's crush on Dawn in Diamond and Pearl amoung others), but that doesn't mean fanfiction should too! As long as it's done in a believable way, then it's fine, you know?

Hey, this was kinda cute! It's always good to see more stuff for my lovely otp. Though personally I see Mairin as being only a few years younger then Alain, I did enjoy the bit about how he thinks of girls, hahaha. I've always imagined him as very uncomfortable with romantic things as well.

A quick nitpick: "haft" is not the word you want. I'm fairly sure it has to do with cutlery. The correct phrase would be "have to", even if you pronounce it like "haft to".

Oh, and tell your friend it is most certainly a time skip. I'm fairly certain they even mention that in the second special. I'm pretty sure Alain says something about how it's been awhile since he talked to Lysandre, assuming the last time they spoke was where we saw them speak through holocaster in the first special. At least they say something about it in the subbed version. I've never seen the English dub.

I'm your first reviewer! Awesome! Those two are such a mysterious pair. There's one fic out there that puts them in a romance but Pokemon really seems to avoid those sort of things. I like Marin's naive nature and Alain's hopefully big brother relationship.
Critique: your title needs work. Other than that try to capture thoughts and background. Everyone needs a backstory whether it's an entire chapter or a few dialogues.
