Listen I know I haven't been leaving a review trail because I'm just. So tired. And wanted to just selfishly chew through something but I gotta stop right here to leave my reaction:

My my, what a ride! This was by far one of the greatest stories I've read on this site. And to tell you the truth I have NEVER eVER reviewed a story as much as I have this one XD It was just too good NOT to tell you how much I enjoyed it.

Your execution of the story was flawless and kept me on my toes throughout the entire thing. The small insignificant seemingly insignificant events and background characters really brought it all to life and gave it a sense of reality that I haven't seen before. Your attention to detail and 'causeeffect' was extraordinary. you introduced consequences to events that I wouldn't have even considered. one of my favorite examples was when Douglas' men were harrassing Ed. It was so perfectly fit into the story and made it seem more believable.

And Riece by golly RIECE. Such an amazing antaganist. I honestly hated him so much that I didn't WANT him to be removed from the picture. He was such a fantastic opponent and I am really curious as to what would happen if he really had gotten away. What kind of sadistic plans would be have for Roy and the Elrics the second time around? I would have loved to have seen the next battle between them. His uniquness and manipulative abilities were so intriguing and downright terrifying.

And Roy, truth be told the most accurate spot on character portrayal I've seen. Parental!Roy stories are popular but it is hard to find one that isn't so OOC. This is exactly how I imagine Their sort of relationship and it was painted out beautifully.

And the angst was real. Super awesome work with Ed and Al's mental states. I wish that Al's feelings could have been did into a bit more, but honestly I'm quite happy with how you balanced everything so nicely. Amazing job, definitely will be returning to this one in the future. And can't wait to read more of your work *Salute*
